TERMITE WARRANTY
Select
Inspect has Teamed-up with North Texas Termite Specialists (NTTS) To
offer a ONE-YEAR Termite Warranty* on Paid Termite
Inspections (WDIR). Inspection fee for most homes starts around $70
plus tax. Low $150 Deductible if the home needs Treatment for One Full
Year.
With
a paid termite inspection, NTTS offers a $99 limited 1-year warranty.
The warranty becomes effective on the day of the inspection, and continues
for one calendar year. The warranty is renewable and transferable.
Even
if the home is found to have termites during the inspection, the client
can purchase a warranty; they may then obtain a spot treatment for about
$150. (per spot treatment of infested area(s))
The deductible may be paid by the seller in many cases.
If
multiple areas require treatment, a “partial” treatment
can be purchased accordingly. Typical partial treatment cost is about
$5.00- $6.00 per linear foot. “Partial treatment” example
is exterior perimeter (and crawl space perimeter and around piers, if
present), all plumbing penetrations in the foundation, and treatment
of infested areas.
With
a partial treatment, the client has the option of purchasing a 5-year
warranty for an additional fee (about $200 for average homes)- Cost
may be greater for larger homes and or special conditions, and such
will be determined by NTTS, prior to issuance of the warranty.

Select Inspect can deliver this warranty information with your
report. The warranty is good for 90 days from the date of inspection,
and covers just about everything that is found to be in acceptable condition
according to your inspection report.

Foundation
coverage, on existing homes, is not available through homeowners insurance
